Curated by Ch\u00e2teau Rouge – Annemasse and La Com\u00e9die de Gen\u00e8ve, F-Lex is a cross-border festival taking place in the four corners of the new railway network. Its aim? To celebrate the L\u00e9man Express, this new train, which widens the territory while reducing its distances during a cultural, festive and general public festival.<\/h4>\n

Compagnie 7273 responded to the programmers’ call. Applying their motto to the letter, the choreographers decided to work on the form of a large parade, in the spirit of a carnival.<\/p>\n

The workshops begin after a presentation of the project to amateurs spread over three communes (Annemasse, Bonneville and Geneva) in autumn 2019. Their aim is to transmit the dance style specific to Compagnie 7273, the Multi styles FuittFuitt. Everyone then sets off to discover their own body and experiment the continuous movement linking the joints together in an uninterrupted, undulating and joyful flow.<\/p>\n

This intimate experience is enriched by the more theoretical discovery of the origin and evolution of the dance style itself. Laurence Yadi and Nicolas Cantillon invented the Multi styles FuittFuitt a long time ago in India, then developed it in the United States to broaden its spectrum in Paris, and today in Annemasse and Geneva.<\/p>\n

This long-term project (six sessions of workshops spread over three territories, between autumn 2019 and spring 2020), with amateurs of all ages and backgrounds, finds its culmination during the F-LEX Festival in the form of a large, joyful and hard-hitting farandole that crosses cultures and the history of a dance, mixing people and connecting places.<\/p>\n

The festival will take place on June 12-13, 2021.<\/h5>\n

Programm\u00e9 par Ch\u00e2teau Rouge - Annemasse et La Com\u00e9die de Gen\u00e8ve, F-Lex est un festival transfrontalier d\u00e9roulant ses interventions aux quatre coins du nouveau r\u00e9seau ferroviaire.\u00a0 Son but ? Saluer le L\u00e9man Express, ce nouveau train, qui \u00e9largit le territoire tout en r\u00e9duisant ses distances au cours d\u2019un festival culturel, festif et grand public.<\/h4>\r\nLa Compagnie 7273 a r\u00e9pondu pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 l\u2019appel des programmateurs. Appliquant leur mot d\u2019ordre \u00e0 la lettre, les chor\u00e9graphes d\u00e9cident de travailler sur la forme d\u2019une grande parade, dans l\u2019esprit d\u2019un carnaval.\r\n\r\nLes ateliers d\u00e9butent apr\u00e8s une pr\u00e9sentation du projet \u00e0 des amateurs r\u00e9partis sur trois communes (Annemasse, Bonneville et Gen\u00e8ve) en automne 2019. Leur but est de transmettre le style de danse propre \u00e0 la Compagnie 7273, le Multi styles FuittFuitt. Chacun part alors \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte de son corps et exp\u00e9rimente le mouvement continu reliant les articulations entre elles, dans un flux ininterrompu, ondulatoire et jouissif.\r\n\r\nCette exp\u00e9rience intime s\u2019enrichit de la d\u00e9couverte, plus th\u00e9orique, de l\u2019origine et de l\u2019\u00e9volution de ce style de danse lui-m\u00eame. Laurence Yadi et Nicolas Cantillon inventent le Multi styles FuittFuitt il y a bien longtemps, en Inde, puis le font \u00e9voluer aux Etats-Unis pour \u00e9largir son spectre \u00e0 Paris, et, aujourd\u2019hui, \u00e0 Annemasse et Gen\u00e8ve.\r\n\r\nCe projet au long cours (six sessions d\u2019ateliers r\u00e9partis sur trois territoires, entre l'automne 2019 et le printemps 2020), avec des amateurs de tous \u00e2ges et tous horizons, trouve son point d\u2019orgue lors du festival F-LEX, sous la forme d\u2019une grande farandole joyeuse et percutante, qui traverse les cultures et l\u2019histoire d\u2019une danse, m\u00e9lange les gens et relie les lieux.\r\n
