The play takes falling as its starting point, an allegory of the risk incurred in art and in life. What alchemy is at work between people to keep them standing? What strength breathes life into the bodies, those at work, on stage, tinged with a form of intoxication and fragility?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With this new duo, the choreographers feel the need to evoke how far they have come through the strength of their work together over the past 20 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this piece, which flirts with cabaret and features multiple references, they invent characters and stage moments that they have experienced as dancers and choreographers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They recall these events in the form of dance capsules, inventing and reinventing themselves. De Buster Keaton a\u0300 Noureev en passant par le cirque et la come\u0301die musicale, tout y est. Sur le plateau, ils s\u2019inventent des personnages et mettent en sce\u0300ne des moments qu\u2019ils ont traverse\u0301s comme danseurs et chore\u0301graphes.\r\n\r\nSous forme de capsules chore\u0301graphiques, ils pre\u0301sentent une se\u0301rie de sce\u0301nettes qui n\u2019ont au premier abord aucun lien entre elles. Elles sont toutefois tenues par ce qu\u2019elles portent, l\u2019amour du spectacle et la magie de la danse.\r\n\r\nLes chore\u0301graphes offrent au public un album photo. Tout le monde est autour de la table et ils racontent une vie, parfois re\u0301elle, parfois fantasme\u0301e. Ils se souviennent, ils inventent et se re\u0301inventent.\r\n\r\nPour cette cre\u0301ation, ils sont accompagne\u0301s d\u2019un invite\u0301-surprise qui vient jouer le trouble-fe\u0302te et perturber le fil de l\u2019histoire. C\u2019est Jessica Arpin, artiste plurielle qui explore les frontie\u0300res entre le the\u0301a\u0302tre,\r\nle cirque, le cabaret et la rue sur son ve\u0301lo, qui ouvre les festivite\u0301s.
